Trump warning: 'Get ready' for United States missile strike on Syria

"If an attack occurs against the forces (in Syria) backed by Russian Federation or there is an attack by the US-supported forces, Russian Federation won't be able to stay away, otherwise it will lose its influence".

President Donald Trump taunted Russian Federation on Twitter Wednesday, saying that the nation should "get ready" for a us missile strike on Syria.

"Whatever happens next has to abide by worldwide law", Swedish U.N. Ambassador Olof Skoog told reporters on Wednesday, referring to USA plans for military action.

Earlier on Wednesday, Trump in a Twitter post warned Russian Federation to "get ready" because U.S. missiles would be headed towards Syria.

And Russian Army Gen. Valery Gerasimov also warned the U.S. Tuesday, if it were to launch airstrikes against Syria.

Russia's ambassador to Lebanon, Alexander Zasypkin, had warned that the federation's military will shoot down U.S. rockets and "even the sources that launched the missiles". "Attacking one side in Syria will draw the US deeper into the civil war rather than reducing our role". It's in response to the Syrian Air Force's latest alleged chemical attack, which left dozens dead over the weekend.

Eurocontrol issued the Rapid Alert Notification, warning airlines to be ready for the possible launch of air strikes into Syria with air-to-ground and/or cruise missiles within the next 72 hours.
