Man City boost: Riyad Mahrez will return to Leicester on one condition

Man City boost: Riyad Mahrez will return to Leicester on one condition

Riyad Mahrez's self-imposed exile from Leicester has been extended as the fallout from his failed deadline-day move to Manchester City rumbles on.

However, according to France Football, both Toure and Mangala had also been used as potential makeweights, with Leicester purportedly willing to listen to cash-plus-player (s) deals in order to make up their proposed £95m valuation (although the publication also claim it was in fact around £10m less than that).

Mahrez had tabled a transfer request in January, as late interest was shown from Premier League leaders City, but once again the Foxes turned a deaf ears to his demands.

One week on, though, and with no agreement having been reached between the champions-elect and Leicester City for the Algeria global, he has yet to resurface.

Riyad Mahrez and Leicester should aim to resolve their dispute "as soon as possible", says players' union chief Gordon Taylor.

RIYAD MAHREZ will miss his third game in a row when Leicester go to Manchester City on Saturday.

Government Agencies Are Questioning Apple About Updates Which Slow down Older iPhones
Apple wants to make their devices more responsive and stable and to reduce customer support related issues. Apple's power management function may also be sidestepped by replacing an iPhone's battery if needed.

It had been previously revealed that the young english winger Patrick Roberts, now on loan at Celtic, was included in as part of City's £65m bid for Mahrez.

So will Leicester acquiesce to Mahrez's fresh demands?

Firstly, they'll face a weakened Leicester side this weekend.

Taylor referred to similar cases in which the PFA had been mediator, including Luis Suarez's attempt to force a move to Arsenal from Liverpool in 2013, and the situation involving ex-West Brom striker Peter Odemwingie, who drove to west London and parked his auto outside Loftus Road in the hope of a transfer to QPR, in the same year.

As a popular member of the squad, Mahrez will likely be welcomed back with open arms by his team-mates when he eventually returns to work, despite some understandable disappointment at his actions. Absolutely no one is winning from him continuing to stay away.
