President Kovind Addresses Joint Session Of Parliament Ahead Of Economic Survey

The government hopes that the bill to end the practice of instant triple talaq would get similar support from the opposition as the Constitution amendment bill to allow the goods and services tax (GST) did past year.

RJD's Jay Prakash Narayan Yadav said that they raised the issue of unemployment and oppression of the Dalits. After a recess of almost a month, the session will resume on March 5 and go on until April 6.

Opposition leaders are meeting on Monday to plan their joint strategy for the Budget session.
