Palestinian teen remains in coma after being shot by Israeli forces

Tamimi and her family have always been targets of the Israeli authorities and the animosity towards them grew even further after numerous videos of the courageous young activist standing up to IOF soldiers went viral on social media, amassing millions of views.

The remand of 17-year-old Ahed Tamimi's mother, who was arrested on suspicion of assault and incitement, was also extended until Thursday.

The video shows the two Israeli soldiers maintaining their composure while taking multiple blows, before slowly slinking away from the scene.

"Palestinian women caught hitting, pushing and cursing Israeli soldiers in order to provoke them to respond on camera".

The Palestinians struggle against the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, territories that Israel seized in the 1967 and has held ever since, despite global protest.

Al-Nabi Saleh is a village of 600 Palestinian inhabitants surrounded by the illegal Halamish settlement. We are used to criticism from the global community about the violence of the occupation, but we are not so accustomed to criticism over two soldiers who thought before raising their hands to strike.

Hamas hopes OIC will reject USA decision on Jerusalem
Legal aspects, political status and the history following the occupation of the holy city and Palestine as a whole were among the issues discussed.

Israeli occupation forces arrested a 16-year-old Palestinian early on Tuesday from her town near the West Bank city of Ramallah.

Israel soldiers grab Ahed Tamimi and a relative as she is being arrested at the entrance to Nabi Saleh's water spring, during the weekly protest against the occupation in the West Bank village, August 24, 2012.

Right wing Israeli Education Minister Naftali Bennett said "these girls should be imprisoned and spend the rest of their lives in prison".

While the Tamimi clan has garnered various criticisms for allowing the children of Nabi Saleh, from the bold Ahed to the vocal "child journalist", Janna Jihad, the Tamimis have said countless times during radio, print and television interviews that they allow their children to participate, first because violence is simply a reality for Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, and second, they believe keeping their children indoors during the protests fosters fear inside them. One year later, she witnessed the army shoot and kill her uncle Rashadi.

According to locals, the bullet settled in the boy's skull after it entered his face below his nose and broke his jaw. And they continue to pay the price for their refusal to accept the status quo, for their steadfast challenge to mechanisms of the occupation. The provocateurs were later arrested. This morning, the army finally gave them what they've been demanding. Many also donated blood to the injured minor.
