More Google Pixel 2 Problems: Google Assistant Not Working With Bluetooth Headphones

More Google Pixel 2 Problems: Google Assistant Not Working With Bluetooth Headphones

Google is having a pretty rough stint with its newest Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL flagships.

If the Pixel User Community forums are any indication, it would seem that this is not an isolated incident, as many are chiming in with the same problem. As of now, it is still unclear whether this is a hardware related issue and whether a majority of Pixel 2 XL owners have been facing the issue. The right earbud not only awakens Google Assistant, it also activates the cool real time Google Translate feature. At the moment, the issue is now limited to Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL owners are not affected. Still, if that's no issue for you and you don't mind the Pixel 2's bezels or the Pixel 2 XL's problems, head on over to Verizon to grab either one by using the Source links below. After a series of OLED-related issues such as boring colours and screen burn-in, users are now reportedly facing a couple of new problems. Additionally, some Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL users are reporting problems with their handsets' microphone. People are reporting an issue with the display flashing when it is switched off or on. Users have posted videos showing a bright white or greenish flash that seems to confirm the issue.

New 2018 iPad Pro concept imagines Face ID & bezel-less design
To replace Touch ID, Apple will introduce the same Face ID technology powered by the new TrueDepth camera on the iPad. Apple is probably also limiting the number of devices that feature an OLED display simply because of the shortage.

Washington Wizards vs. Cleveland Cavaliers - 11/3/17 NBA Pick, Odds, and Prediction
The task for the Cavaliers on Friday against the Wizards is enormous. "I feel like we're the best team". The Cleveland Cavaliers play at the Washington Wizards on Friday night (7 p.m.

In what seemed partially meant to be consolation for removing the headphone jack from the Google Pixel 2, the Mountain View company announced the Google Pixel Buds, a pair of semi-wireless headphones (they're still wired to each other, but now your phone). Google is yet to acknowledge the issue but we can expect some sort of software patch to fix the issue. It happens when the phone is being unlocked, when it wakes up from an incoming notification, when the screen dims and automatically locks, and more. I was able to replicate the issue by blowing into the bottom speaker. Yes.

For some Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL users, the microphone malfunction issue can be fixed by blowing up in the speaker which may sound old school but until Google responds, this may be the best bet. Apparently, there is a fix that might bring the microphone back to work.
