Trump's Approval Rating Stays at 37 Percent — CNN Poll

President Donald Trump believes a new poll showing that almost half of Americans believe the news media is inventing stories about his administration is actually low-balling the issue.

A Politico/Morning Consult poll released on Wednesday showed that 46% of Americans believe that media organizations invent stories about Trump, compared to 37% of Americans who did not believe that the media invents stories about the president.

Sixty percent of independents expect Trump will be remembered as a below average leader or one of the worst presidents in history. "Even 20 percent of Democrats think that the national media fabricate stories on President Trump and his administration". He's been particularly irked the past few weeks after NBC News published a story that claimed his Secretary of State Rex Tillerson called him a "moron" and wanted to resign this summer.

"With all the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License? That being said, many are still not willing to let the federal government censor the media". You watch what they report, it bears no relationship to what I'm doing.

The online poll, surveying a total of 1,991 registered voters, has a 2 percent margin of error.
