Trump sends signal with Corker attack - Source Thehill

It was the third full day of the Trump-Corker feud that began Sunday morning when the president shellacked the retiring Tennessee Republican on Twitter, with Corker firing off his own tweet alleging that Trump has turned the White House into an "adult day care center". Instead, Trump said the country was "on the wrong path before" on the North Korea threat.

"Every single day at the White House", Corker said, "it's a situation of trying to contain him". If it has any hope of continuing to offer itself as a steady hand on the tiller, more Republicans must follow Corker - rhetorically and, ultimately, electorally.

It's not unusual for Trump to engage in a Twitter attack, but given the high-profile roles in the USA government the two men hold, it's all but unprecedented in recent memory. "I understand we're on the record".

Now what? James Fallows at the Atlantic writes that if Corker truly believes Trump might blunder his way into World War III, he has an obligation to "do something about it" by providing a crucial check on Trump's actions through his position as chair of the Foreign Relations Committee. "We need HealthCare, we need Tax Cuts/Reform, we need people that can get the job done!" "Corker and the people of Tennessee", Sanders said. He added, "I know [Trump] has hurt, in several instances, he's hurt us as it relates to negotiations that were underway by tweeting things out". The Foreign Relations chairman has already said he won't vote for any tax bill that increases the federal deficit.

Here's a Preview of Halo Recruit Running in Mixed Reality
With more than 20,000 apps in the library - including Cortana, as demonstrated onstage - that's a lot of content from day one. At Microsoft's Windows Mixed Reality event, conducted today both Microsoft and Samsung have officially disclosed it at last.

In his speech at the United Nations General Assembly last month, Trump threatened that the United States "will have no choice but to totally destroy" DPRK if forced to defend itself or its allies.

The feud is odd because Corker was briefly considered as a vice president running mate during the 2016 campaign.

"The President called Senator Corker on Monday afternoon and asked him to reconsider his decision not to seek re-election and reaffirmed that he would have endorsed him, as he has said many times", Womack said in a statement.

Trump later gave Corker grief about the comment during a meeting in the Oval Office, according to a Republican congressional official who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the private conversations. "I don't think so at all", he said.
