Malibu resident David Torrence, 31, an Olympic runner, was found dead Monday morning, August 28, in a swimming pool in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Staff members at the Center Court Condominiums in Scottsdale called 911 about 7:30 a.m. Monday after seeing a man at the bottom of the pool.
