Taylor Swift says DJ subjected her to long, 'horrifying' grope

Taylor Swift says DJ subjected her to long, 'horrifying' grope

The 27-year-old pop star was testifying for the first time to a U.S. District Court jury weighing her accusation that David Mueller grabbed her bare bottom during a pre-concert fan reception in 2013 against Mueller's assertion that she falsely accused him and then got him fired.

Taylor Swift has testified in her trial accusing a radio host of groping her that "he grabbed my ass underneath my skirt" when the two posed for a photo together before her 2013 performance in Denver.

The star claims that David Mueller sexually assaulted her during a meet-and-greet before a performance in June 2013.

"I am critical of your client for sticking his hand under my skirt and grabbing my ass", Swift said.

While Mueller previously stated that he tried to put his arm around Swift and their arms accidentally got crossed, Taylor denied that was the case, saying it was "a definite grab". And while Swift's lyrics are reliably PG-rated, she did not hold back when it came to describing what allegedly happened that day. She added that Mueller "stayed latched on to my bare ass cheek as I moved away from him, visibly uncomfortable". "I had never dealt with something like this before", Swift said.

Swift's mother testified yesterday (August 9), telling the courtroom that her daughter was "really shaken" and "humiliated" by the incident. "You stand there and take a photo".

The photo seen by jurors shows Mueller with his hand behind Swift, just below her waist.

The singer, who was joined in court by her mother and father Scott Swift, has said she will donate any damages awarded in her suit to charities that fight sexual assault on women.

Nakamura Defeats Cena, Will Face Mahal For WWE Title At SummerSlam
In fact, the odds on who will walk out as champion still most favor Mahal, even with Shinsuke favored to win the match itself. To defeat John Cena would be an accomplishment on its own, and with the stakes so high Cena would be at his very best.

As a result of the lawsuit, Swift countersued, claiming assault and battery.

Can't see her tweets?

Mueller has testified that he did not deliberately touch Swift inappropriately, but that he might have accidentally touched her in the rib area in his hurry to jump into the photo shoot with her. "I have a 3-D rendition of what happened in my brain", she said. "Swift, Mueller intentionally reached under her skirt, and groped with his hand an intimate part of her body in an inappropriate manner, against her will, and without her permission", Taylor's countersuit filed in October 2015 reads.

Taylor Swift said she had nothing to do with Mueller's firing (two days after the encounter) and that she had no reaction when she heard about it.

Swift's lawyers have said she does not know Mueller and has no incentive to target him or to fabricate a story.

She said couldn't have said anything about what happened without others already in the photo area overhearing.

The singer, who was 23 at the time, did not file a police report because she did not want the incident made public, her attorney Doug Baldridge said.

Swift's team has said they hope the case "will serve as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts".
