Maxine Waters: Trump 'Most Deplorable Person I've Met in My Life'

California Congresswoman Maxine Waters' outspoken criticism of the Donald Trump Administration has made her into a social media star for many Millennials. I think it's a way of quieting voices that maybe people in power don't want to hear because it potentially interferes with their ability to do what they do and say what they want to say and exercise power in certain ways...

Waters, as a vocal advocate for President Trump's impeachment, also touched on the investigation into Russia's alleged election meddling led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. "I think he is going to connect the dots and I think we're nearing a constitutional crisis". Waters' response: "I'm good where I am".

"The worst I've ever seen, the worst I've ever experienced, yes I do", she said".

As the audience cheered, host Joy Behar sang "Lock him up!"

California representative and forever queen of the millennial beating heart, Maxine Waters, gave us yet another magical, meme-worthy moment when she refused to allow Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin to dodge her questions during his testimony in front of the Financial Services Committee, invoking House procedural rules to declare she was "reclaiming [her] time". "He lies, they know it, and he's the danger and they want us to do something about it". She shot down rumors that she may be running for president in 2020 and instead said her mind is focused on removing Trump from office before the end of his first term.

The event that triggered the beginning of the end for Mr Priebus was the hiring of Mr Scaramucci as communications director. His selection, opposed by Mr Priebus, was followed immediately by the resignation of press secretary Sean Spicer .

The interview on "The View" was Waters' second TV appearance of the day.

Envy quickly interrupted to remind Waters that those two descriptors have been used to describe former President Ronald Reagan, a lion of the conservative right.

"I've long thought that there was a lot of smoke - even fire - and that everything that I have learned about this president, starting with the campaign itself, that people should have understood that there was something terribly wrong with him", she told hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.

"Whether it's the president of the United States of America or anybody in his cabinet, we will say to them 'we will resist you.' We will not allow you to damage this country in the way that you're doing", she said as she gripped her award.
