Bounty Hunters, Fugitive Killed in Shootout

Cellphone video shows the moment before a deadly shootout between two bounty hunters and a fugitive inside a Texas vehicle dealership on Tuesday.

The two men had pursued Ramon Michael Hutchinson, 49, to a Nissan dealership in Greenville, about 50 miles (80 kilometers) northeast of Dallas Tuesday.

Hutchinson was in an office with another person when the bounty hunters approached and began giving him commands to stand down and not resist, authorities said. That's when the target pulled out a gun and started to fire.

Police said that about 20 shots were fired in about six seconds, despite innocent employees as well as children being nearby.

Three people are dead following a surreal gun battle yesterday evening at the Nissan Dealership in Greenville.

Peters said Garcia and Bernal tracked Hutchinson to the dealership.

Rouhani says hopeful Europe won't follow Trump's lead on Iran
Moments before Mr Trump arrived in Tel Aviv and hailed Israel a "friend and ally" during the second leg of his first foreign tour, Iran hit back.

The investigators were hired by a company called U.S. Fugitive Apprehension of Minnesota. She did not know specifics of why Garcia and his colleague would chose a vehicle dealership for an arrest, but she said bounty hunters often use public places in an effort to minimize risk.

Jose Cano said his wife, María, who sits near the entrance, heard gunshots and ducked under her desk. The two men have been identified as Felix Garcia Jr. and Gabe Verbal both from Corpus Christi, TX.

TV's famed "Dog the Bounty Hunter", Duane Chapman analyzed the video for Inside Edition. Peters said he had been working with Garcia for more than a decade and contacted him whenever he was looking for a fugitive in Texas.

"We didn't give them permission, but we also didn't tell them that they had to leave", dealership owner Rick Ford told CNN affiliate KTVT. They said they were waiting for someone they were planning to arrest.

Wes Bearden, legal counsel for TALI, said late Wednesday it was his understanding that Garcia was a licensed private investigator. Peters said he had been friends with Garcia for years and said he would not misrepresent himself.

A check of state licensing for private investigators maintained by The Texas Department of Public Safety indicates Garcia and Bernal were listed as "commissioned security officers".
