Adults Invited to Join Summer Reading Program at Curwensville Public Library

Young readers are invited to get out their building blocks and their bookmarks as they get ready to read as the annual Summer Reading Program gets into full swing.

This year's Summer Reading theme is "Build a Better World", and kids will find plenty of ways to do their part, from reading at home and at the beach, to attending fascinating library programs about science, nature and more to help keep their minds sharp all summer long. Throughout the program there will be crafts, various activities and games. The Flagg-Rochelle Public Library started their summer reading programming this week with some exciting events planned for readers of all ages.

With school winding down this month, it's the flawless time to breathe new life into your summer reading list.

"Our Summer Reading Program remains one of the library system's most popular programs", said Burlington County Freeholder Linda Hughes, the library system's liaison.

SCLSNJ's 10 library branches will offer a wide array of special programs for all ages to encourage you to challenge yourself to learn something new and different.
