Yasir Shahs 6-for brings Pakistan to drivers seat against West Indies

Yasir Shahs 6-for brings Pakistan to drivers seat against West Indies

Yasir Shah's stranglehold of the West Indies continued in the second Test at the Kensington Oval as the leg-spinner snared seven for 94 to brighten the prospects of a first-ever Test victory for Pakistan at the venue.

In the morning, after resuming on 40-1 overnight and still 41 runs behind, West Indies lost Shimron Hetmyer (22) for the addition of just one run, with the left-hander clean bowled by Mohammad Amir (1-44) in the 17th over.

Misbah-ul-Haq scored 99 for the second game running as Pakistan's first-innings 393 earned them a lead over West Indies in the second Test.

Shai Hope may have helped West Indies towards a respectable score and stretched their lead towards 200, but he also took "some responsibility" for the five wickets they lost in the last session of the fourth day in Bridgetown.

The decisive third Test starts next Wednesday at Windsor Park in Dominica.

Twitter has plans for 24/7 live streaming
"Our goal is to be a dependable place so that when you want to see what's happening, you think of going to Twitter", said Noto. Earlier this month, Twitter lost a bidding war to Amazon for the streaming rights of Thursday Night NFL games.

"This pitch is very difficult to bat on and it was important that we did the hard work to get a first innings lead", said Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur in putting his side's very deliberate batting approach into context. However within sight of a maiden Test hundred, he drove Shah to cover where Azhar Ali held the catch that triggered the late slide. Young pacer Mohammad Abbas took two vital wickets of Kieran Powell and Vishaul Singh.

"Anything they gave me to score runs, I pounced on".

Hope and Roston Chase kept the runs flowing with a 58-run stand before Chase was caught and bowled by Yasir for 23.

At stumps, the Caribbean side were still leading by 183 runs, with Devendra Bishoo (16) and Shannon Gabriel (0) batting at the crease.

Having survived an optimistic appeal for LBW against his West Indian counterpart Jason Holder the ball before, Misbah attempted to pull out of the way of the next delivery which lifted sharply and came off the glove for Shai Hope to gleefully hold the catch at second slip.
