Model Behavior? 'AGT' Auditioner Accuses Tyra Banks Of Pulling Daughter's Hair

Deadline reports that the suit was filed against the production company behind America's Got Talent by the contestant, a woman identified only as Jane Doe, who claims that her daughter was traumatized by the alleged physical and verbal abuse meted out by Banks on set.

Jane and her husband, John Doe, performed a song about motherhood and the birth of their daughter, Mary. Banks even went so far as to shake the girl's shoulders and pull her hair back, say the documents being used in the ongoing lawsuit.

[Tyra Banks], an individual acting as an agent of Defendants, physically manipulated and verbally abused Mary.

After Banks finished ragging on the song herself, the show turned the running cameras on Mary and asked her what she had thought of her parents' performance after it had been ridiculed on national TV.

The family is accusing Banks of assault and is going after the star for infliction of emotional distress.

Trump Called Comey 'Nut Job;' Russia Probe Identifies Current White House Staffer
Reports of a memo from Comey indicating Trump had asked him to drop an investigation into Flynn rocked Washington and Wall Street. Trump's investigation in light of the rapid-fire sequences of events taking place since Comey's firing more than a week ago.

Additionally, the 18-page suit alleges that Marathon Productions got Mary to sign a contract (which typically allows the show to portray you in whatever light the powers-that-be so please) without her parents' knowledge or consent. Once they finished, the woman says that she and her husband were "humiliated" by the judges and the audience, who criticized the song.

"Mary was traumatized and became deeply depressed", the suit claims.

"Jane" and her husband were attending their second audition when their daughter's traumatizing backstage incident allegedly took place, with the couple having moved on following a previous performances in NY. The lawsuit says AGT "maintained that they will exploit all footages of Jane and her husband and that they will not air those footages in their entirety". An application heard by producers who acknowledged " knowing Mary's emotional distress". "America's Got Talent" is supposed to be a show about talented and untalented people across America, not a Lifetime sequel for "Mean Girls", tentatively titled "Mean Girls 2: Mean, Green Tyra Machine!"

Marathon, NBC and representatives for Banks did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
