Steady rain ending this afternoon, drier weather for Wednesday

Highs will be in the low-40s on Wednesday and in the mid-40s on Thursday.

Showers and isolated storms will be the story this afternoon. Scattered rain showers and low clouds remain tough overhead with high temperatures near normal for this time of year in the mid to upper 40s. A subtle warming trend looks like it sets up late next week.

Thursday will remain mild with partly cloudy skies to start the day. Winds E 5-10 miles per hour. Lows will be in the upper 40s with winds E 10-20, gusting up to 25 miles per hour. High pressure crests west of New England on Thursday, resulting in continued pleasant weather across the region.
