Kate Upton 'honored' to appear on three new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit covers

Kate Upton is back and better than ever on the cover of SI Swimsuit, where she sizzles in THREE different covers!

The 24-year-old model was announced as the iconic magazine's 2017 Swimsuit cover figure on Valentine's Day.

Taking to Instagram later, Upton shared her thoughts about returning to the cover.

Serena Williams will be featured in the new Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. She's joined four other SI immortals, including Christie Brinkley, as three-time cover girls. One of the major highlights for Williams was getting to wear a thong bikini, which she has never done before.

We can't forget that it was Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue back in 2011 that helped Upton become the star she is today, so it's nice to see she's still working with them.

Whatever she's doing, Upton's fans hope she keeps on doing it so they can look forward to seeing Kate a few more times on the cover of Sports Illustrated. "We want to celebrate strength, beauty, and more", she said.

Turkish president: Troops entered IS stronghold in Syria
The deaths from Thursday's airstrike raise the number of Turkish troops killed in Turkey's operation in Syria to 64. The Turkish military operation in Syria's al-Bab has entered the final stage.

"I think it's just a rope", the model responded laughing.

So if the NY Post report is true, it looks like SI caved and Upton got her third solo SI Swimsuit cover (tied for first all-time).

KU: To have an issue that focuses on that is a really fantastic moment for me because I think it's important for everyone to be the best them they can be, but not to strive to be a company or industry's idea of ideal. The typical SI reader may not be surprised by this, as she's been on the cover twice before, but those who keep up with magazines about gently obscured nipples and Page Six may notice something sort of interesting.

"We were picking out swimwear together in the fittings before the shoot, and she was showing me how to pose to angle my body in a way that accentuates the curves", Alexa explains.

"It's a full circle moment for us", Sports Illustrated editor MJ Day said in a statement.
