Penguins remain confident after losing Game 3 in overtime

It's safer than the security line at SAP Center to say San Jose won't get far in this series with out some magic from their two top goal scorers of the playoffs, no matter how many times Joel Ward swoops down from the proverbial rafters to save the day. Just keep shooting and try to wear them down, try to find a hole.

It will be a brand new series if the Sharks are able to secure a win at home Monday night.

"Day to day, " Sharks coach Pete DeBoer said Sunday, and he did not elaborate.

It appears that San Jose Sharks forward Tomas Hertl will not be skating Monday night for Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals, after suffering a lower body injury in Game 2.

Murray had a relatively ordinary showing in Game 3, but has been one of the Penguins' most reliable and productive players this spring. Luckily for Pittsburgh, some of his teammates have stepped in and contributed - most notably Kessel on that explosive HBK line.

In an overtime period controlled mostly by Pittsburgh, San Jose got the only goal. The game is scheduled for an 8:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on NBC. "I don't think the game is that simple".

After going through the entire regular season and two-plus rounds of the playoffs without losing a game they led at the second intermission, Game 3 was their second defeat in such a situation during the past two rounds.

Obama endorses Hillary Clinton for president
Sanders "has run an incredible campaign", Obama said, offering praise for raising issues like campaign finance reform. Sanders and Obama appeared in good spirits as they walked together to the Oval Office, smiling and talking.

Malkin helped set up Cole's goal to open the scoring, then added one of his own on the power play to give Murray all the support needed.

How the Kris Letang-led blue line responds to help Murray rebound from the loss could be as crucial as Murray's reaction itself.

"It's hard to make a lot of lateral plays when the puck's bouncing, " Sullivan said. The Sharks are looking for their first Stanley Cup victory this spring, where they now sit down 2-1 in their series against the Pittsburgh Penguins in the final best-of-seven series. "Ever since he's been here, he's just so calm and so confident", Thornton said about Jones: "You know every night he's going to show up and shut the door for us".

"If we get the first one, we usually roll pretty good when we get the lead", Chris Tierney said. "Not as much as it bothers you guys".

"Just keep doing what we're doing. I think that's when we started to see what he was capable of". Burns' first goal of the final, a wrist shot from the circle that didn't look unlike Joonas Donskoi's overtime victor in Game 3, put San Jose in front in regulation for the first time in the series.

But in games two and three, the 29-year-old defenseman has not only scored one goal in each, but he's been a big part of the reason that Penguins stars like Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby have yet to register a goal.
